*Over 30% of Care Experienced children/young adults become involved with Mental Health Services.


* The Care Experienced child mortality rate is 5 times higher than that of the rest of the population (Scotland). Figures are not available for England (Where 12,000 children in "Care" were acknowledged as missing within the "Care" system in 2020), figures are not available to account for those missing children.

* 90% of adoptions in Britain occur without the consent of the birth family.


* 1/3 of adoption placements are known to fail.
